VLC >> Chromecast black screen

hello,
I have a problem with VLC media player.
I want to play my images on my TV by connecting it to my chromecast.
I manage to connect to my TV but when I then try to play a video nothing happens.
A black screen remains on the TV.
In VLC it also doesn't play the videos

VLC is up to date and I have tried it with several videos.
