I cannot access SMB folders on a Windows machine if the folder name contains a semicolon (";") such as this:
Artist - Album [2020; FLAC; 1796 kbps; 24 bit; 48 kHz]
I'm having trouble with both your Android & iOS apps. On Android (phone), it'd prompt me for authentication, which then forbids me to proceed even after I've entered the correct details. On iOS (ipad), it'd enter the folder briefly (showing no content), then immediately bounce me out without giving any error messages.
On both platforms, I have no trouble entering a folder without a semicolon in its name.
On Android, other apps (e.g. CX File Explorer, FX File Explorer, etc) do not have this problem.
On iOS, other apps (e.g. Apple's File app, FE File Explorer, etc) do not have this problem.
VLC version:
- iOS: 3.2.13 (375)
- Android: 3.3.4
My various OS version are:
- Windows: Win 10 Pro x64 version 20H02 build 19042.804
- Android: 10 (API Level 29)
- iOS: 14.4 (18D52)
Any help in solving this would be appreciated. Thanks!
