Elimination of file name at the beginning

First time poster here.
I love VLC. I believe it is absolutely the best MP, period. I only use VLC, especially for its file conversion capabilities.
I use it for my videos that appear in my Power Point Presentations as well, which brings me to my question. I would like to know if anyone knows of a way to turn off the file name that appears in the first 4 seconds of playing a video with VLC? I know that probably sounds a bit picky, but it detracts from the professionalism of a PPT presentation if during my 4 hour presentation, if every time I play a 15 second video, 4 seconds of it includes a completely unneeded subtitle stating the filename ("XXXXXXXX.mp4") across the bottom of the screen. I have searched through the settings and have found a couple of buttons that possibly sound like they might do it, but no, they don't work.
Thanks.

Menu Tools -> Preferences (Show settings = All) -> Video
Then on the right panel untick the "Show media title on video" option.
Save, exit and restart VLC.

Thanks for that. It was in a slightly different location than you described. There is no "show settings" and therefore, no "all" option in my menu controls, but I did find it under the tools menu. Thanks very much.
