DVD/Blu-ray's subtitles to autoplay in playlist

Hello all,

I have been creating playlists of digital content for my students that airs on a channel for them to watch at their convenience. All the content is set to continually replay, should they miss a specific lesson or video. I recently began to include DVDs/blu-rays to provide additional context to the lessons. Looking through the forums, I found how to auto-start and skip menus of DVDs/Blu-rays once they are added to the playlist.
To accommodate and include a deaf student in the lessons, I am trying to figure out a way for subtitles to be auto-detected and auto play each time a DVD/Blu-ray is queued in the playlist. Is there a setting I am missing and need to adjust to achieve my desires?

Thanks for your help!

AFAIK you can't use external subtitles when you play a DVD or a BD.

No, you can play the subtitles that are built into DVD and BD discs. You can also take external .srt (and I assume other subtitle formats) and they will play with their corresponding video. To get external subtitles to play is no problem... its' the built in Subs in DVDs and BD that I can't to get to Autoplay.
