Can i cast a movie to a firestick like i do with a chromecast?

Hello,

as the subject says, when i play a movie on my desktop i can cast it using "render" to my chromecast which is available in the network, i also have a firestick 4k connected in the same network but i can't see it available to cast like chromecast.


Is there an issue i can solve or for some reason that i don't know you can't cast to a firestick?



i know i can mirror my screen but it's not the same as when i "render" the movie actually playing to my device.


Can you help me somehow?

Only the Chromcast protocol is supported in VLC 3.0.
