VLC Playback Renderer to chromecast

Having issues to render VLC to a chromecast device set on my tv. The video will play for a while but will cut out and I get a blackscreen with the blue logo, which means it is still connected but for some reason the video stops?? Please help...

The same keeps on happening to me, using MacOs Catalina 10.15.6, this is the message I got: /Users/d-fu/vlc-3.0/extras/package/macosx/../../../src/misc/messages.c:419...VLC 3.0.11.1...

The movie would play for a few minutes and just stop, I already uninstalled VLC, cleaned the laptop and the same happens after reinstalling it...

Can anyone help us?

Same problem here as well with video casting from Kubuntu 20.10 to Chromecast 4k cutting out after 5mins or so and a black screen with blue logo remaining.

When I try to cast music from VLC to Chromecast audio, the track will stop regularly after 2m:05s-2m:20s.
