Hi,
I hope someone can help resolve an odd issue I'm having playing DVDs on VLC on Windows 10 64 bit. I recently installed VLC on a Windows 10 Machine and on a Macbook running Mojave 10.14.6. Since VLC was just installed on both machines, it is the most current version. Though I've changing the video settings an input codecs in VLC in Windows 10, nothing resolves the issues. When playing the same DVD on VLC on the Macbook, there are no issues. For some reason, they are only when using Windows 10.
I have searched the Internet and this forum and have implemented the suggestions I found, but they did not resolve the issue. Note: There are VOB files in the Video folder. This is not an MP4 or other video format.
These are the issues when playing a DVD with VLC on Windows 10:
1. The video plays fine for a second or two then looks scrambled, then plays for a second or two and then goes back to being scrambled. By scrambled, I mean it severely breaks up and changes color. The audio appears to be fine.
2. Not all episodes play. Say there are 4 episodes on a disk. Not all of them play.
3. If I select Play All, only one of the episodes plays, and it does not start with the first episode.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
