Hi there:

Above all I hope everyone and family is safe from the issues we are facing.

I am wondering if you can tell me if VLC Media Player offers the following option that I have used in the past with other players.

Let us say I put a DVD in the computer optical drive or an external optical drive and instead of 1 continuous file there are several.

As an Example we will use My Neighbor's Band Live:
Live Atlanta
Live Boston
Live Chicago
Live New York
Live San Francisco
Live Washington D.C.

On some other players I have used in the past the video screen shows those files and let us say I want to watch only Live In Chicago I can either take the mouse and put it to that selection or use the down arrow on the computer. When I am at the file I would either double left click and it would play or single right click > Play.

With VLC the only way I can get the file to play would be go to the top of the Player click "Playback" and choose the file from the drop-down (in this case 6 choices for the six live concerts). Obviously this is nothing major but am curious is there a way to simply choose the Live Chicago File the way I explained, putting the mouse in that position or using down arrow and clicking.

If I am doing something incorrect I apologize and do not mean to take up your time; I only want to gain knowledge if there are nuances to be aware of from player to player.

Thank you for your time and you and family be safe always,
CTAM
