This refers to Audio only.

I have flac and cue files with the complete record in only single file and would like to separate it into the individual songs. They are 24/192 very good quality audio files and would not like to lose any quality. I would like it separated into individual songs with the same quality.

I'm not sure VLC is the best tool for doing that.
It would be easier and faster to use a dedicated audio editor, such as Audacity: https://audacity.sourceforge.net

Thanks. I have Cubase. Do you know if it can be done with Cubase and a clue about how?

Or.. as I already have VLC, can it be done with VLC? Even if it is not so comfortable?
