I record European TV programs using a TechniSat Digit HD8-S receiver. Playback is fine using the receiver and teletext subtitles (usually on page 777) can be displayed. When trying to view the .ts files on a Windows 10 PC running VLC (3.0. however, the subtitles are often not displayed (maybe depending on the broadcaster?), despite the fact that they are present.
