Stereo Mode Partially Working

Postby hankone » 06 Mar 2020 20:41

I have been using VLC player for many years with no audio concerns.

But now, I have downloaded ONE video which is acting differently from the many downloads in the past. All other videos continue to work as normal.

The video plays a very soft static with no recognizable sounds when the Stereo Mode is in Mono, Stereo, or Reverse Stereo. The video plays with normal sound when Left or Right is selected.

Why does this happen?

Because the right channel has noise on it?

No, there is no noise on the Right or Left Channel. They seem to work find. It is just the Mono, Stereo, and Reverse Stereo that gets no sound.
