Embed filename in video

Hi,

please forgive me I am a newbie to videomanipulation, but I have the following question:
is it possible to embed the filename in the video during complete video playback?
Like VLC only displays it the first couple of seconds during playback. I need to have this displayed during playback constantly. Also, could it be possible to embed this in the video itself so it's always displayed, even when using another player instead of VLC?
