RE: No Audio in Playback When Using Red Record Button To Record Clips

I'm new to this video forum, so please just "bear with me" if the answer to my question here has been answered previously.

When I play a video using the VLC media player and click the red record button to record a SECTION of the played video, when playing the clip back there's no audio (??).

Does anyone have some insight on this? VERY annoying to have the clipped video with no audio.

Did you ever resolve this? I have the same issue.
