anchor.fm podcasts fail

Hello All,
Has anyone tried playing any podcasts from anchor.fm enabled podcasts? This is the first time i have tried to play or heard of anchor.fm,, and when i copy paste the url https---- vlc activates for about 2 seconds and stops. I simply can not ping anchor.fm or the complete url of the podcasts im trying to play and save.
Ideas?
