Not "No Disc Menus" looping

When 'Converting' a DVD I uncheck "No Disc Menus" as I want the menus on the resulting MP4.
However, the conversion process just loops forever.
This is 'documented' on many web sites, so it appears that this has been this was for quite some time.
I'm just wondering if it's on anyone's list to fix?

(What I am trying to do is convert my home made DVDs so that I can put them on a HDD so that my Smart TV can play them 'neatly'. So if there is some way I need to restructure the menu to avoid the loop, maybe I can do that, if necessary)
