just got me a new dvd+/-r/rw burner for my linux box(fedora rc1) and tried to view a dvd w/vlc0.6.2. tried to view the disc directly, but got these errors:

so i tried viewing individual files. the fbi/intro vob(in normal 4X3 aspect) plays fine, but any of the 16x9(widescreen) files SEGV:-(

i had extracted the entire dvd using xcdroast to create an iso, and vlc plays it fine until the aspect ratio changes:
