No video is displayed after changing output format

After I tried to make the video output in vlc to directx(directdraw) my pc froze. I tried to reboot my pc but for my surprise that is no video input at all, even the bios screen didn’t show up. I was using windows 8.1 when this occurred. Can someone help me please.
