Does VLC support the extraction of timed metadata from an HLS stream? Per the Apple spec, these are included in the MPTS as ID3 tags. I can see several online player libraries that support it (JW Player, THEOplayer, etc.), but I'm really looking for a PC client.

I can't figure out how to see the metadata in VLC when playing a hosted URL.
