Does anyone know how and where to set what extensions are played??

I accidentally associated .exe files with VLC. Now I can not run any exe files, lol.

This is done inside your registry.

Also, shift+click should allow you to change the registration. Also the Windows preferences.

This may help. I haven't read it myself and don't know about any software they mention.
