Hello everyone,
I'm a new user with VLC media player and I want to edit a 10 minute video to about 2 minutes. I can trim my video from where I want to start and end but I want to do multiple trimming here and there during the whole video. How do I do this? I'm using widows 10.

VLC is not an editor. You can record some of the parts but it's not very accurate.
In the menu View, tick the Advanced Controls option and it will show four more buttons, one of them is the Record button.

It might be easier and faster to use a dedicated video editor tool such as AviDemux.
