Taking snapshot from MP4 360 video

Hello, I use the VLC player to play videos in MP4 360 format, I can move the view all around with the mouse and locate a specific view but when I use the snapshot function I do not get an image exactly like the one displayed by the VLC player but rather a kind of full 360 view. Is there an option or a way to get exactly the same image as the current view?
