I am currently trying to stream a video file from my PC to my chromecast using VLC. I am selecting Renderer and then Media -> Stream -> File Selection. I configure the output & hit Stream only to get an error message stating " main TLS client error: TLS client plugin not available. Stream_out_chromecast stream out error: cannot load the Chromecast controller " What do I do?! Help, please!

What VLC version do you have? On what OS?

I'm sorry. I am currently using VLC version 3.0.2 within the Linux - Slackware version 14.2. I tried to just drag n' drop the video file onto the VLC application window to no avail, after I go to Renderer & select the Chromecast television. It still outputs the same error messages. If I use the VLM wizard to set up the input & outputs, VLC doesn't cast anything to the chromecast! Can you help me, please? !

So I downgraded the gnutls to gnutls-3.5.8-x86_64-1 and B I N G Ooo, it works! Thnx anyways. Happy hacking. :geek:
