I was hoping I would be able to flip the playback of a dvd using the transform module in vlc. I select vflip in the module preferences and save, but nothing happens to the video. It doesn't work. any ideas?

You also need to "enable" the transform plugin (not only configure it).

For this, go in the Video section of the preferences, and select transform in the video filter list.
