Auto-remove file from playlist once played

I am just setting up VLC for the first time and am getting comfortable with my config. One thing I can't figure out though is how to autoremove an item from my playlist once it's played.

1) I added the Resume Media AddOn
2) Set 'allow only one instance' and 'enqueue items into playlist'

Now when I double-click a file it gets added to the end of my playlist which is perfect. One the file is played, however, I'd like it to be removed from the list - is this possible?
