Maximum Horizontal Resolution?

Hello everyone,
I hear mixed reports from different people as to what the maximum horizontal resolution is for VLC Player.
I have a 360 degree immersive space with 8 x Full HD edge blended projectors that provide an approximate resolution of 13,000 x 1200.
What I would like to know is if VLC Player could handle content created in that resolution?
