audio fade-out effect during pause and stop in vlc

Is there any way I can add the audio fade-out effect in VLC?
By audio fade-out effect, I mean fading out of audio that happens when the pause or stop button is pressed. This effect present in many android audio players. So, I was wondering whether there is a plugin/addone that can produce the same effect or if there are any adjustments in preferences window I can make in the player to achieve the effect.
