The vlc's own slider nor the pc's slider doesn't affect the volume at all. Pc's slider works for example when watching youtube videos. Also the slider has turned blue when i try to change volume with mouse slider on screen. Plus on the lower right side where the volume level is displayed the audio waves coming from the speaker image have turned orange. Also muting does nothing. I have my computer linked to an amplifier and amplifier to a projector but there has never been a problem until recently.

Does anybody know how to fix this?
