this is my abssolutely 1st post on this forum, so i may be leaving out vital info, in my question.

question: i have been using a playlist on vlc for about a month or longer.

last night, right out of the blue, i had gotten an error message, that causes me not to be able to use the playlist.

the message states: File reading failed:
VLC could not open the file "F\vlcmix1\.............................mp4" (bad file descriptor).

your input can't be opened:
VLC is unable to open the MRL 'file'.

///F:/vlc% 20 mix1/ (..........)

this is the case for about 15 different mp4's.

again, it's been fine for about a month.

any help will be appreciated.

Hi,

Please provide the version of your VLC as well as the file path you used.

Maybe try with an older VLC version (2.x) to see if it's a new issue.
