How to use Logo in VLC video

hi all,
i was able to found some tutorials on net on how to use custom logo in VLC but im facing an issue. Every time i use a logo in a video, VLC puts it in the centre of video.
I tried changing the top and left settings in video effects -> overlay but still the logo appears in middle
how do i change the placement settings ?
