Command Line - Multi Windows

Postby justh » 31 Jan 2018 21:57

I'm looking to use VLC to play a range of 4k Videos across two screens using the Wall video filter.

I'd like to initiate this with command line so would like to know if there is any way that the Video Windows created by VLC can be positioned by the command line?

The command would start VLC on a specific video file, initiate the Wall Mode (2x Columns, 1x Row), and then position the windows in fullscreen across both monitors.

I'm not locked into doing this on any specific OS, just want to check if it's possible first.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Justin
