How to remove the delay when playing streaming rtp H.264 video?

Postby valerikpunk » 11 Jan 2018 08:16

Hello!

I am trying to play rtp H.264 stream with VLC (rtp directly, not rtsp). The problem is I am getting a delay between the stream arrives on the PC by Ethernet at fact and when it is shown by the VLC. The delay time is approximately one second. I want to exclude the delay but can not figure out how to.

Can you help me? Is it possible at all?

p.s. Sorry for my English.

delay depends on gop, mandatory buffers and decoder internal buffers.
there's no support for low latency
