A small question...

I just installed the latest version of VLC player on my new laptop. For some reason, the cursor will not disappear during full-screen playback of video files. An insignificant issue, for sure, but enough of an issue to make me wonder if I have missed a setting somewhere along the way. Any help? Thank you so much.
