How to stream MEGA files?

I have files in MEGA (mega.nz), I would like to watch them in vlc, but the download link is not valid for this, how can I watch the videos without using MegaDownloader?
My idea is to create a website where the user chooses the video they want to watch and clicks the "watch in vlc" button, then the site opens the vlc that is installed on the user's computer with the stream of the video selected. it's possible?
