Chapters: Displaying markers on timeline/progress bar

Hello all,

If this has been asked/answered please point me to the post. I did some searches but didn't see anything that specifically addressed my question.

I have a couple videos that I added chapters to. These are working fine in VLC. I can hover on the timeline and see them as well as jump forward/backward and they show in the menu under Playback > Chapter. What I want to know is whether there is a way to display markers on the timeline/progress bar such as vertical bars or alternating shading so it's apparent there are chapters. When I open the videos it's not readily apparent there are chapters so having a visual cue of where they are would be helpful. I looked through the settings but couldn't find anything.
