NSV w/x264 Alpha, AAC Problems

Postby Allclone » 13 Nov 2005 23:17

With some new testing of the Alpha builds of x264 encoder for NSV file/container I am having some problems with AAC/AACPlus playback problems I also notice this happens with other NSV files I tried to play back that contained AAC style audio.

Is there a setting I'm missing or does VLC not yet support AAC Audio within the NSV container?

The current error I’m getting when reading a NSV file that has AAC audio is “faad warning: unknown channel ordering

Any info/help/questions about the problem would be cool, not really a pressing problem but would be nice to get working so that the upgrade from VP3 w/MP3 would be x264 w/AAC within a NSV container, it would make for great reduction in size and possibly improvement in quality & cross platform compatible.
