"encoded by" metadata not editable

Hello

For some reason I can't seem to be able to edit the "encoded by" metadata.

The GUI will let me change it, I can press "save" but it will not be saved. Other metadata are being saved, this seems to be unique to the "encoded by" field. Tested both on MacOS and WIn.
