The VideoLAN Forums

I'm probably being an idiot, but since I keep my hand on the mouse mostly, I'd like to put buttons on the toolbar for jump forward or back, rather than moving to hotkeys. I've looked at the docs and forum. Am I missing somewhere a button already for this, or is there a way to assign the hotkey to a button? Thanks.
