Load/save effects and filters presets

Hi there,
while watching a DVD of some rather old TV series (Star Trek TNG, actually), I played around with video effects and filters in order to improve image quality and finally managed to get a really nice, crispy, vivid, high-contrast result. Now I would like to save those effects and filters settings to some kind of "preset" file so that I could easily restore them whenever I'll be watching this show again.
Does VLC support saving/restoring effects and filters settings, or, if not, is there an alternative (like launching VLC with entirely different config files)?
