Loop video with preferred Audio Track

I have a video of a yule log fire that I want to loop, but I want it to play the 2nd Audio Track (natural fire sounds) instead of the default 1st Audio Track (cheesy choir). I select the 2nd Audio Track manually when I start it playing, but then once it loops, it defaults to the 1st Audio Track. Is there any way to make VLC remember to play the 2nd Audio Track each time it loops the video?

Alternatively, could I edit the video so the 2nd Audio Track becomes the default (1st) one?

Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the response.

I could not get the --audio-track command to work unfortunately. It always disables the audio yet I do not see any errors regarding it in the logs, even with verbose logging.

It seems as though other people have experienced this same issue without any resolution:

Thanks.

--audio-track=1 should really work.
