bluray menu & submenu

Hi people at this forum i have a question that i cant find a solution for.
I also don't know if it is the right topic or if there is allready a right answer for. This forum is so huge.
I am a very curious person within the ict so forgive me if a ask questions that you guys already know.....
As we all know VLC don't auto start a bluray, why must we start it manually. Isn't there a way to let VLC detect the bluray including menu's or not and the let it start?. It's not that i am to lazy or something but it also starts with a dvd file.
Second thing i am wondering about for a couple of months, i am making my own video clips and movies and 99% always with a menu and is some cases sub menu's.
Now, in a DVD image or what ever this goes fine. But when i create a blueray iso, only the first menu layer works. When i select a menu item and it goes to the next (sub) menu layer, the menu names or images are all there but the navigation don't work.
When i use my home bluray player from pioneer it works, also with the mede8er it works fine.
Thank you for your time fellow forum members.
