convert .flac to .mp3 with media information

Apologize if this has been asked before.
The version of VLC I'm using is 2.2.4.
I know how to convert .flac file .mp3 file, but the .mp3 files I get from conversion lost all media information (artist, album, genre, etc.). The original .flac files all have media information.
How can I convert .flac files to .mp3 files while keeping all the media information?
