audio duplicates need to be able to delete the duplicate file

I have been using itunes for years and it allows me to do a "duplicate" check and the ability to delete one of them, if I want. Today I downloaded the new VLC software and told it to search for files on my computer and I ended up with quite a few duplicates. I tried to delete a duplicate file by using the remove option from the tools menu, which now that option has disappeared, in just a few hours. So I am informing VLC that there is a need to delete any kind of file that has been pulled into VLC and a request for duplicate audio files delete option. John Gray
