Hi every one.
I try to open my Camescope Panasonic with VLC.
It does not show in Devices Capture.
Is it possible to open a Camescope with VLC?
I'm under Windows 7.
Thanks.

You need to install DirectShow drivers for the device. Please check your manufacturer documentation.

I went all over the net and found no such drivers.
I think you just wrote an easy answer.I found no such drivers unless you prove me wrong.

If there are no DirectShow drivers, then the device cannot be used with VLC on Windows. Complain to the manufacturer.

After thinking it over and over again, I think you're wrong...
When a camera or camescope is connected to a computer, it is detected as a hard drive.
As a result, a hard drive cannot be played through Direct Show.
Que pensez-vous de ma déduction???

VLC uses DirectShow to capture video on Windows (as do most WIndows software, really). If your camera vendor does not provide a DirectShow driver, your camera will not work with VLC. There is nothing to argue or be right or wrong about here.
