I can convert lyric files (.lrc) to subtitle files (.srt) and have them display during playback of my music IF I set the Audio > Visualizations option to something other than "Disable".

To show album art, the vizualization must be disabled.

How can I show the subtitles (lyrics) for a song while also showing the album art?

PS: I'd prefer a solution that didn't involve installing other software (minilyrics etc).

I did some searching and found that the feature request has been made.

So is there any way to give a thumbs up on a feature request?

As a workaround, I wrote a script to use ffmpeg to batch convert my music files to .mp4 with image. The files aren't much bigger than the mp3s because I can lower the frame rate of the video.
