VLC 3.0.0

Is there a way to disable the yellow bouncing buffer progress bar?
It bounces left to right and back again and its kinda distracting and unappealing to my taste.
So yea is there a way to hide it?

I'm no programmer or know how to compile or edit, but I opened the libqt_plugin.dll with notepad(text editor) and tried to edit it to remove the input_slider, but any change I made made the file unreadable by vlc I guess. I made backups of course. If someone knows how to edit that .dll and remove the input_slider or disable its animation(search the .dll for animLoading) and then upload a modified .dll for me, that'd be cool too. I don't know if that would work or not but I was just following what I read here http://superuser.com/questions/882072/w ... n-vlc-mean.

Or maybe I'll learn to skin vlc and find that bar texture.

Tools -> Customize interface -> Time toolbar
Then drag the elements you don't want down into the bottom list.

I don't want to remove the whole "Time Slider" which is where the yellow bar bounces back and forth. I use the Time Slider to move forward, backward through audio/video. In previous VLC versions they did not have the yellow bouncing bar. I just want the yellow bouncing bar feature removed.
I'm using this newer VLC 3.0.0 version because it supports HEVC video.

Doesn't give me many options to remove. By default there were 2 timer boxes, and the 1 Time Slider.
