No sound when ripping DVD to MP4

Postby Jeff69 » 13 Apr 2016 11:21

Hi,
My objective is to rip a DVD to MP4 file. ( DVD is not a commercial one - it is just a copy of a TV movie recorded with a SONY player/recorder )

No problem when reading the DVD with VLC : i have both Video and Audio
After converting , i get a MP4 file : i have only Video and no Audio

Tried many setting ... always the same : no Audio after convert

What could be wrong?
I am with windows 10 , maybe it s the problem, no?

Thank for your help

@Jeff69:
I think you rip no DVD to an MP4 video, you convert a video file to a DVD to MP4. How do you go for the conversion before which format does the video on the DVD and which version of VLC do you use?
