Hello dear forum members,
everytime I try to play the BluRay "Rammstein in Amerika" (which undoubtably runs well for a lot of people) I get the message: "The format of 'file:///H://BDMV/AUXDATA/_dsa_version_' cannot be detected.". Afterwardes VLC crashes. The named file is a text-file containing "3.0" (without quotes). See screenshots for an overview. I tested another BluRay and that did not play as well.
I can open the BluRays and look at the files, so my drive does seem to (basically) work. In response to the error I installed new drivers of my drive, but they made no difference. I'm quite sure this issue does not result from an error on VLC's side, but maybe someone here knows where it comes from. (Although the player should not crash completely on such an incident.)
My system: (For details I attached DxDiag report)
VLC in Version 2.2.2 and tested the most recent 3.0
Windows 10 Pro 64-bit
Drive: HL-DT-ST BD-RE BH10LS38 ATA Device
Processor: Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E31230 @ 3.20GHz (8 CPUs), ~3.2GHz
Memory: 16384MB
Video: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970
Sound: ASUS Xonar DGX Audio Device

Btw: VLC asks me afterwards to upload an error report to the FTP server but that always results in a new error message, that the server is not available.
