Multiple search terms in playlist

Hi guys,
I have a huge playlist where I dump all my music into. Now I was wondering if there is any way to search for multiple terms inside the playlist at once?
For example: if I want to listen to "The Offspring" and "Halestorm" I'd enter "something" and VLC would display all songs by offspring and also the songs by halestorm?
Hope you guys can help me
