Subtitle/OSD is gibberish

Hello there guys, maybe you could help me, I dont know whats wrong with my player, the display is gibberish even though its supposed to be english. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling but didnt do me any good. Any help? all of the displays are like that. even the subtitles 
If I did it right, theres supposed to be an image there. Help would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance
