Why AVI movie window disappears after each running?

For questions and discussion that is NOT (I repeat NOT) specific to a certain Operating System.

Why AVI movie window disappears after each running?

Postby al » 29 Nov 2003 19:57

I am using VLC to present a scientific AVI movie (24 seconds) on a PC, slowing down and pausing it when needed but after the movie ends its' window disappears. How can the movie window be left open in its' final or starting stage?

if you hack the code, sure....
but not by default. for most people this would be considered unwanted behaviour

A configuration option should be added then...

Pffft for that?
Sorry, but i guess i'm too MacOS oriented for this. Adding such options to a Mac application would be unthinkable.
